Check-In Procedure – Guesthouse on Keam

Welcome to Guesthouse on Keam. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable arrival, please review the check-in options and important information below.


1.⁠ ⁠Assisted Check-In

Assisted check-in is available on request until 8:00 PM, subject to staff availability. Kindly arrange this in advance if needed.


2.⁠ ⁠Self Check-In (Preferred Method)

For your convenience and flexibility, self check-in is our preferred option. Please follow these simple steps:

  • Once your arrival is confirmed, the driveway gate will be opened automatically.
  • The alarm system will be disarmed, allowing safe entry to your allocated room.
  • Proceed directly to your room and enter through the door.
  • Room keys will be placed inside for easy access.
  • Use the remote provided to operate the driveway gate during your stay.


⚠️ Gate Reminder:

The gate closes automatically. To avoid delays or accidental collisions, always operate the gate while standing nearby and ensure it closes properly before walking or driving away.

  • Wi-Fi Access: Connect to the strongest network available in your room using the password: 0837868640.
  • Arrivals After 8:00 PM: Only self check-in is permitted. Specific instructions will be sent directly to you based on your arrival circumstances.


⏰ Early Check-In

  • Early check-in is available subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.
  • An additional fee of R250 applies.

Guests may have access to shared areas, including lounges, kitchen facilities, and outdoor spaces. We kindly ask everyone to:

Self-Check-Out Procedure – Guesthouse on Keam

Dear Guest,


As you prepare to depart, kindly follow the self-check-out steps below:

  1. Switch off all lights.
  2. Ensure all windows are securely closed.
  3. Lock both the inside and outside doors.
  4. Use the remote to open the driveway gate.
  5. Drop the keys in the postbox located at the main entrance door, adjacent to the driveway gate.
  6. Confirm your successful check-out by sending a WhatsApp message or calling 083 786 8640.
